A shift rota of 3on/3off – 14 hours shifts
8am starts
10am starts
11am starts
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £27,072 – £29,313 per annum
Location: Caergwrle, Flintshire
Requirements:
Diploma / NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children & Young People.
Start date: 17/11/25
Responsibilities include:
- Creating a positive environment & atmosphere to accommodate the needs of the young person
- Providing appropriate care and support as identified in the young person’s placement plan
- Providing support & preparation towards independence for young people
- Support & Guidance to young people by removing barriers to learning in order to promote effective participation, enhance individual learning, raise aspirations and achieve their potential.
- On average there are x3 sleep-ins per month (paid at an additional rate)

Successful applicants will be empathetic, have a passion for child centred care and posses positive role model qualities. It is essential that you hold a full driving license and are at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes. A good standard of education is required and applicants must either hold or be prepared to work towards a Diploma / NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children & Young People.
