Teaching Assistant required!

The Supply Service are recruiting for Teaching Assistants who are available to work Monday to Friday to represent us within Primary, Secondary and ALN schools throughout Wrexham.

We are specifically looking for applicants seeking consistent, full-week work and who can commit to being available throughout the school week.

Important – Availability Requirement

Applicants must be available Monday to Friday, approximately 8:30am–3:30pm.

This vacancy is aimed at Teaching Assistants looking for regular, ongoing work across the full school week. Unfortunately, this particular opportunity is not suitable for applicants who are only available for one or two individual days each week or whose availability changes regularly.

We require Teaching Assistants to support pupils in both 1:1 and classroom-based settings, working with mainstream and ALN pupils across a range of ages.

As a Teaching Assistant you’ll need to have:

• Availability to work Monday to Friday during school hours
• Experience working with children in a 1:1 and/or classroom support setting
• A patient, caring and positive approach
• Confidence supporting pupils with a range of needs and abilities
• Strong rapport-building skills with pupils and school staff
• Good organisational skills
• The ability to support classroom routines and behaviour
• A strong commitment to safeguarding children at all times
• A suitable child-based reference
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to complete one
• EWC registration or willingness to register where required

We are specifically recruiting for candidates who can offer full Monday-to-Friday availability.

If you are currently only looking for occasional supply work or have limited availability on certain days, we may have other opportunities available, but this particular vacancy requires consistent availability across the full working week.
